The country has extremely high unemployment and around 35 million impoverished, a war, a city and the surrounding area demolished by hurricane, and a record federal deficit, so something is a little fishy when I'm reading articles like this:
Americans keep snapping up second homes
Americans bought a record number of second homes for vacation and investment last year, some 40 percent of 2005 total sales, a trade group said Wednesday.

I remember reading that Exxon-Mobil had record profits last year too in the New York Times. So I guess what else is new, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, but make sure when you read that the country's economy is in the shitter, you remember that for some, that means big money. |

I guess no one really reads this, but if anyone glances at it I suggest you check out this web site about L.A. band The Screamers. They never recorded in a recording studio, so it is quite hard to find stuff about them. The web site is trying to compile everything about them so as we don't lose them entirely. If you have Acquisition, you can find their music on there sometimes too. They are a queer band, VERY VERY GOOD and loud and perfect.

On my train home to Pittsburgh yesterday, a girl sitting directly behind me was talking on her cell phone and plotting a murder. She was talking to her friend and saying how she was going to Pittsburgh to buy a gun, because I guess it's easy to buy a gun in Pittsburgh, and then she was going to hop back on a train to South Carolina to shoot someone named Piper. At first I thought she was merely joking, exagerating at most, but as I continued to eavesdrop on her conversation, I realized that this girl was, in fact, quite serious. Who knows if she will actually kill Piper?

so there's all these republicans coming out now, including governors (click here to read), that are saying they are nervous about bush and skeptical about his ability to lead the country. TOO LATE YOU ASSHOLES. you supported him gung ho when it mattered - the election - and now all i can say is "we told you so". now they are all gonna back pedal so they can get re-elected, well fuck you all. you all fucking suck you fucking fuckers and i fucking hope you fucking get the clap.
i saw meneguar and rahim last night and they both rocked. meneguar was even better than the last time i saw them and they encored with "hands off" which made me a happy man. |
